Pre monsoonal rains have caused flash flooding, landslips and mudslides across the island of Sri Lanka.

It is estimated that over 200,000 people have been affected by the weather, with deaths sadly being reported.

Concordia’s Sri Lankan office, located in the capital Colombo, continues to be heavily involved in the providing claims assistance to Insurers, Reinsurers and Brokers.

Anushki Goonetilleke, Director – Operations and Kanchana Rajapakshe, Director – Loss Adjusting are controlling local activity, with further assistance and local attendance in Colombo being provided by the London head office.
